Indigenous Liberation Movement and Milieudefensie Jong have come together to raise awareness about these challenges. \nThe COP is the largest climate conference in the world\, and this year marks its 29th edition. World leaders\, major financial institutions\, NGOs\, and activist groups gather to help decide global climate policy.\nBut how does COP actually work? Who exactly attends\, and with what intentions? What decisions are made\, and who makes them? And how should we interpret the results of COP29? \nOn December 12\, we will dive into these questions and many more with two different panels of experts and activists. A key focus will be on the representation of youth and indigenous peoples. The event is held in English. \nPanel I: Understanding COP \n\nDaniëlle Hirsch\, Member of Parliament for GroenLinks-PvdA\, responsible for International Trade and Development Cooperation\nPieter Pauw\, Senior Researcher and Policy Advisor in international climate policy at the Clingendael Institute and TU/e\nChautuileo Tranamil\, Indigenous Activist and Co-founder of the Indigenous Liberation Movement\n\nPanel II: Who is heard at COP?
